From elephants who dig watering holes to dogs who detect danger, we’ll discover how animals help people and other creatures thrive in their environments. Along the way, young explorers will dive into geography, read real maps, and uncover the wonders of habitats and ecosystems across the globe. Adventure awaits!

Each week, Pathfinders fasten their seatbelts for a virtual field trip to meet amazing people working across our city! At every stop, students explore the unique tools and talents each job requires, discover how these helpers contribute to our neighborhoods, and jump into fun, hands-on activities that bring each profession to life. During the drive, we’ll meet a construction worker, dog trainer, chef, zookeeper, photographer, firefighter, and more. It’s an engaging, interactive journey that sparks curiosity, builds civic awareness, encourages critical thinking, and promotes teamwork.

We’ll explore the power behind simple machines, observe wild chemical reactions take place, and gather real data using tools like bar graphs, tally charts, and Venn diagrams. This class is packed with exciting experiments that will spark curiosity and bring STEM to life!
