Pathfinders transform into marine biologists as they explore the wonders of the ocean, from its tiniest organisms to its largest awe-inspiring creatures. Beginning at the shoreline and tide pools, students will journey progressively deeper beneath the waves, investigating both familiar and exotic plants and animals that thrive within the ocean’s diverse ecosystems. Our adventure culminates in the mysterious depths of complete darkness, where we uncover some amazing—and sometimes bizarre—forms of ocean life. This class features rich, cross-curricular ocean studies woven through art, literature, hands-on experiments, and interactive activities.
